Learn How To Speak Japanese - It's Your Time To Blossom
Spring is upon us and you must learn how to speak Japanese. Why? Spring is the season for plum and cherry blossoms in Japan. It is the time of the Hanami season (March to April) which is, for many Japanese, the best time of the year. This is the season when the cherry blossom trees all over Japan come in to bloom for about a week and a half and people hold outdoor parties to view them. The name says it all: hana means 'flower' and mi means 'to look'. This is a great time of year to visit Japan and practice your Japanese with the locals because the weather is perfect and everybody is in a party frame of mind. The advent of the blossoms not only signals the end of a harsh winter but also the beginning of another school year and a new fiscal year for businesses, so Hanami is like a party to celebrate a new beginning.
